Changing employer before October 1 start date

My present company is filing for my H1B this year . My question is once my H1B is approved can I change my company before October 1 start date

Just to make sure , do the new employer need to file a fresh h1b or i can get the already approved h1b transferred to my new employer

But you may have contractual agreement with your first employer that would cause you problems and you could be required to pay financial damages to him.

yes , I am aware of that and its just that I have been offered a better job and starting date is is next 2-3 months .So just wanted to know if I can leave my present employer before Oct 1 start date

Yes, once your H1b is approved, your new employer can file cap exempted H1b for you.
