Two Employers running Payroll for an H1b employee

Hello all,

I ended up in a complex situation where two companies are running my payroll at the same time.

I am working with Company A for the past 3 months. I was offered a good position with another company B and they filed my H1B. I have a valid H1b from Company A while i still dont have approval from Company B yet ( 3rd week of premium). My plan was to move to Company B once i have approval ( applied via premium).

Company B unfortunately started my payroll with a tentative start date. Company A is running payroll as i havent given notice yet.

What are the repercussions of multiple paychecks from two employers with H1B status? Any impact on PERM processing in future?

The issue with B is being paid for work you have not performed.
