L2 to H1 COS,need for a client letter

Hi All

I am currently on a L2 visa. I am working in a EVC model. My employer is looking to file for L2 to H1 COS.They are sourcing a letter from the vendor,however my employer is also asking me to get a client letter from my client manager. My client is saying that as per company rules he may not be able to provide me one.

My question is whether not submitting a client letter to USCIS in my application effect the decision taken on the petition.

Client letter is mandatory if you are working at client location. But you can get your H1 approved, if you are lucky.

I would say get the letter.
