Urgent help, Experts plz help! Complex H1b visa situation

Hi All,

I went to Ottawa for H1b stamping in Oct 2012 and got Admin Processing for not having client letter. In January the consular office sent emails asking for client letter or that they need to speak with the end client. But it was not possible because I am no longer with the client so I did not reply to those emails. My visa application is still pending. This is my 6th year of H1, still 14 months remaining on my H1 out of 6 years if I recapture my stay out of US.

Now one of my old client is offering a position with them as there is an urgent need and willing to issue client letter. I know the vendor also as I have worked with them before.

1.) Is it better to go for amendment with the same employer and apply with the same Ottawa Consulate?

2.) Or is it better to go for H1b transfer, withdraw my application, and go for fresh stamping in India?

3.) Or is there any other better option, please advice.

I have BS and MBA from US. I have not applied for GC, I have had continuous job since I started my H1 in Oct 2007.

I would not go for a H1 transfer without recent pay stubs. I would go in for an H1 amendment and send the new client letter to Ottawa Consulate along with the amendment.
