Status? H1B and I-94 expired ... I 797 valid till 07/21/2015

Hi All,

I traveled to India on July 22nd 2012 and came back on 6th Aug, 2012 on my H1B visa which expired on 01 September, 2012 because I entered US on the visa which is currently expired the expiry date on my I-94 is also September, 01,2012. My H1B extension was approved on June 18th,2012 which extended my visa from 07/22/2012 to 07/21/2015, with the new I-797 (which I received after coming back to US) a new I-94 which has a control number different than the one I have in my passport. Now, I am not sure which I-94 is valid and if I am out of status or not? Should I take any step to get this corrected?

you latest i94 code on I797 is valid one and you are good.
