Is it possible that PIMS Update haven't happened for 3+ months?

can anyone tell me if it is possible that PIMS haven't sent updates to Consulate for 3+ months? My interview was on 10th Dec and haven't got any update since. No one has contacted me neither from my employer. I called DOS and they are saying, your application is waiting for some 221G Document, that's the last comment VO made in my case on 21st Dec '221G Document Pending'. Since they haven't kept any document except i797A at the time of interview and neither they have asked via email for any such, is it possible that VO hasn't received PIMS update?
