Drop Box Stamping @ Hyderabad

Hi all,

I attended my first H1 @ Hyderabad. I have valid Visa Stamping until September 2012.

I want to go to Hyderabad again for stamping, this time trough Drop-Box.

I heard like this "You have eligibility for Drop-Box only if you attended no later than 1 year of your Visa expiration. In my case i need to attend by Sep 2013."

Is there any rule like that ??

And one more thing is

What are the chances of getting Visa as i am a Consultant trough Drop-Box.

I know this is little weird question some one can say If you have Good Documentation you will get your Visa!

But up to my analysis tough you have Good documentation as consultant, FTE has better success rate for stamping.

So just i want to know about the result case of consultants who attended trough Drop-Box. Is there any difference or same issue like regular??

I'm in the same boat as you. yes if you choose for drop box you should drop it before 30 sep 2013. So far I saw in fourms that no one got a query or rejection through this process. Please share if you find any more info on this, I too will share if I find something on this process

As far as I have read posts no one has got into query for DropBox restamping. "What are the chances of getting Visa as i am a Consultant trough Drop-Box. ?" - No one knows about it, you know how is your employer and your work details. I am also in same situation EVC model and my Visa expired in november 2012 and I am eligible for Dropbox. I am planning to go for DropBox Mumbai in April 2013. I think this would be least risky situation as of now. Life moves on man. If you think everything is ok for DropBox just go get it. If US consulates wants to screw anyone, they do it anyways. Be it FTE or EVC, EC. They clearly mentioned on US travel docs website that even if your client changes your petitioner has to be same. Just follow simple rules. Rest everything is luck you cannot predict. Just prepare for worst and hope for best
