sandy009 Posted March 13, 2013 Report Share Posted March 13, 2013 Hello, I have applied OPT on Sep 14th 2012 and it's still showing initial review. its march 12th 2013 almost 6 months, there's no change in status. I am concerned about this, I called USICS 2 times and they raised tickets and their response was we are processing right now we don't need any further information. That's it they didn't mention anything about why it's getting delayed. Did some one ever faced this situation.Please suggest me what should I do now? Link to comment

kalyan_ac Posted March 21, 2013 Report Share Posted March 21, 2013 Find out to which processing center you petition was sent and look for their processing times. If they have past beyond the processing time, call them or take an infopass. Link to comment

When I called USCIS last time (March), They said the background check is still pending. Please let me know if you get any solution? Link to comment
