My wife appeared for F2 Visa on Feb 15 2013 and given a 221(g) white slip - F2 refused after submitting documents requested according to 221g white slip.VO asked bthey were asking in the column

" from the petitioner"

1. " a copy of the petition with all supporting documents as filed with USCIS.

In the other column " From you "

1."A copies of all you academic credentials

2. " Copies of your us federal income tax returns and w2 forms for last 2 years "

3." Copies of all pay slips and bank statement of last year" ank

statements, pay slips, w-2, Income Tax Returns, degree and transcripts. The reason is not stated clearly.

My current status is I am on OPT and my OPT expires in june 2013 and F1 visa stamping expires on August 2013. But I am filing my H1 in April 2013. Should my wife reapply for F2 ?

What are the chances of getting Visa approved for second time.

I have recently switched my job in jan 2013. Should she mention about H1 filing as i applying H1 in april 2013.

she will be asked about any H1 filings, etc....I strongly suggest that she not decide to tell a fib, if asked, or else she might discover that obtaining an H4 in the future could be time consuming....

no. Since the embassy knows you are waiting for an H1B, what can your wife say are the reasons that will compel her to return to India after a few weeks rather than stay put, do an AOS, etc...?

My OPT expire on june 30 2013 and F1 Visa expire on Aug 6 2013 ,

If I apply in my current college and if get an admission and if I have I-20 than will it affect visa acceptance or denial ? Or I should go with current situation and also could you please tell me documents needed for F2 visa application.

If an H1B is in the works, and she is asked about it, and decides to be less than forthright, her visa application will be denied quickly..and those folks who do fib may well face even more scrutiny on any future applications (no matter type) since the applicant's credibility will have been eroded....your F1 status means little...what matters is whether the VOs believe that both of you will be returning at the conclusion of your studies...which, from what you posted before, does not sound as if that's the plan....no documents on this planet can guarantee issuance of an F2 visa...because said visa category is subject to 214b...if she didn't overcome it last time, it's not very likely she will again ....because nothing has really changed in either her situation nor yours....you appear to have every intention of remaining in the US, and she won't be able to come up with a credible reason why you (and thus, she as well) would do so, ergo, since there would not appear to be a reason to overcome immigrant intent, well, so much for the F2 application....
