Urgent .... please help...Intend to revoke H1 which is already expired.

Hi,

I got first H1 approved back in 2008

1st H1 from 2008 to 2011.

h1 extension 2011 to 2014 , approved on dec 2011

Now on Mar2013 I got Intend to revoke on my first H1 which is 2008-2011, if they revoke that will my extension also gets revoked automatically.?

If they donot touch my h1 extension what will be my status?

Both h1 and h1 extension are from different companies.

what are teh resons for the teh intent to revoke? Usually if they send u a letter for the H1B that is already expoired, teh letter is null and void. But you did an extsnion so that will not be true in your case. Yet, your extension is from a new empoloyer so there is a possibility that you may need to respond. I say donmt waste time and contact an attorney. I recieved an intent to revoke myself in my 6th year of h1B with same employer. A year after i responded to teh letter, they revoked my h1B. I had to reapply and do counsular processing. Hope you dont have to go thru teh same ordeal as myself.
