EC Model H1b Stamping

I work at client location for my employer....I have to go for H1B Stamping to India Hyderabad urgently.....This is my first one

Since i am the only one from company working on H1B ,My HR is not sure of documents required and procedures for visa stamping.

When she asked the company attorney....The attorney told I797 approval and emloyment letter more than enough for visa stamping and no letter from client is required.....so now it is very hard to explain my HR ....the need of client letter for stamping.

I want to know ....where did the consulate mentioned it require client letter....and please let me know what additional documentation required to be carried in EC model for H1B stamping.
