Change J1 Visa Program while in the US

Hi,

I am currently on a j1 study program, this visa expires mid June. I am hoping to spend the whole summer until the of August in the US. I have found a company who will sponsor my visa (i.e supply me with a new DS-2019).

So my question is how do I go about changing program without leaving the country or is it possible. I would plan to transfer program at the end of may.
