Academich1
(Hi I work for a company A.. A few years ago Company A has acquired company B. Now company B is trying to seperate from company A but not seperated 100% yet. even though Company B has got its own way of paying salaries and issuing W2 forms. Now I have been moved to Company B(all my paystubs are generated by Company B. the paystub does not have company A's name on it)... But it is 100% owned subsidiary of Company A. Is it safe to get paid by Company B(Subsidiary of Company A) even though my H1 is still with Company A. Appreciate your responses Thank you in advance. Link to comment
Attorney_25
In some circumstances it is possible to move to a successor company without having a new H-1B filed, but qualification for this must be analyzed correctly, and then the process must be handled correctly. This is a good situation to be advised/assisted by a qualified immigration attorney. Link to comment
