H1B - Stamping

Came on L-1 , granted H1-B and H-4 for my dependents. After 1 year, we realized original LCA had a mistake, so corrected with amendment along with new H1-B extension. But my dependent's H-4 not extended.

Having said that, my dependents are leaving the country and i understand they must get stamping to re-enter.

Now attorney is saying, i must go along with them to get stamped.

Any idea, why ?
