Question about period between OPT and H1B

Hi all,

My OPT ended in June,2012 and H1B started on Oct,2012. I was already working with my client when my OPT ended. I had called my International Office in my University and they said that my status will be automatically updated and I don't need to do anything for the period in between my OPT ending and H1B starting. I guess most of are in such situation. Can anyone confirm if I need to prepare any document for such scenario for H1B stamping purpose?

You can call your Center for International Programs office and ask them to send an I-20 for the CAP gap period(June -Sept). If asked by the VO, you can show that I20.
