H1B amendment by current employer and H1B transfer by new employer

My current employer had some changes in their legal entity so they want to initiate the H1B amendment fast to clean their books,

but I am accepting an offer from a new employer who is starting the H1B transfer.

Is this fine or do i need to inform my new employer about the H1B amendment?
