Approved I-140 and Employer change

Hi All,

After going through the forum, I couldnt get a firm answer.So I'm posting this again.

I have an approved I-140.My Priority Date is Nov-2010

Its already been 6 years with my current employer, but he still wouldnt provide me with the I-140 approval.

Can I Switch Employers, and retain my PD even if its revoked?

I came to know that even if its revoked i can still retain my PD. So just want to make sure.

What do I need in order for me to retain. I do not have a copy of my I-140 approval nor do I know the case number of it.

ANy pointers to a good immigration laywer who can help would also be very helpful
