drdadi Posted February 28, 2013 Report Posted February 28, 2013 Hi, My DOS favorable recommendation sent to USCIS on 2/7/13. I have recieved letter from USCIS. it says initial review on online status. Anyone got recent clerance from USCIS, please post time line.... Thanks in advance Dadi
Attorney_11 Posted February 28, 2013 Report Posted February 28, 2013 Generally, the USCIS will issue the approval notice within 2 to 6 weeks of receiving the recommendation from the US Department of State.
J1FL Posted March 1, 2013 Report Posted March 1, 2013 Could you please let me know how long did it take to get the letter from USCIS (Receipt No) and also from DOS (favorable recommendation) from the day of the reccomendation sent by DoS? Also, did they send the letter through the self addressed envelope?

I have seen favorable recommendation online on 02/07. and it was sent to USCIS and myself and my attorney recieved letter dated 2/11 that it is been accepted. sonce then the status online shows it is initial review.
