H1 Transfer approved; Travel abroad

I have a valid H1b stamping until september 2013. My H1 is transferred from company A to B and I gave my resignation it will be in 2 weeks. my current company A is sending me out of country for one week. I come back to USA on weekend and I start in company B from monday after this weekend.

Can I still be able to travel with the approved I797 of new company B. will I face any problems at port of entry

It is permissible to apply for admission in H-1B classification to work for an employer with whom there is an approved petition but the valid H-1B visa stamp lists the name of a previous employer.
