PIMS verification Feb 25th @ Ottawa

Helo,

I had my Visa interview on Monday Feb 25th @ 8:30 am

VO said everything looks good but PIMS database is down and my information is not updated. I did not get any updated as of today Feb 27th? does anyone has an idea on how long does it takes?

I also had my interview on feb 25th @toronto and was told the same thing by VO.

On Feb 27th My status changed from Admin processing to Issued.

Even I had my interview on Feb 25th and VO told me that PIMS has not been updated and told me to check the status on Wednesday.But I didnt get any updates till now.My employer told me that it might take from 3 -10 business days for PIMS to get updated not sure though it may take less time also.Can you please let me know like when you get any update about your status or passport.

I went to Ottawa during last year and I was told the same thing. I appeared on a Tuesday and got my Passport Friday evening. But some of the other folks who had interview almost the same time as mine got their passports very late like 14-18 days. No intentions to scare you but be patient. Calling them often may not be a reasonable idea.

I had the same situation. Nothing to worry about it. It might take extra 1-2 days to PIMS get updated. Usually the Passport should be collect on 5th business day in this matter.
