My parents, brother(16) and sister (22) are also applying for a tourist visa to travel here from India. I sent the invitation card with a letter from the pastor to verify the date and venue. My parents had their visa denied twice couple of years ago and now they are trying again. Has anyone had a similar experience or any suggestions? Our travel agent told us that showing the invitation card is definitely going to support our case. Please help!
t75 Posted February 27, 2013 Report Posted February 27, 2013 A wedding is a very special event that an immigration official would understand. My family's experience was a short visa to attend a wedding was granted when others were denied. Be sure that the time requested is reasonable (hint - 6 months is not).
