member9
Dear Users - When my Labor certification was approved ( PERM) my employer mentioned that i dont need to sign it amd so it is never signed by me. Later I-140 is approved and I-485 applied and i have EAD. I dont have a lawyer as the employer took care of all the filing. Is it safe to move on to to another Job using AC21 in these circumstances or will it pose a dependency for me in the future for my GC. Please advise. Thanks in advance. Link to comment
Belle
You need a consultation with a lawyer. It appears this is more about how you feel (secure or not secure) then the particulars of the law. Link to comment
member9
Thanks belle. I would consult a lawyer but my question is - can the application proceed without beneficiary signing PERM becuase i read somewhere perm needs to be signed by beneficiary and the beneficiary never signed certified perm in this case. Belle
Well, the I-140 was approved. I don't know how your lawyer has done it, but it seems to have done OK. You need to ask that question someone who has a lot of practical experience. Link to comment
