I wanted to book my Visa slot with the US embassy but I have the following questions before I proceed 1) My employer is filing an H1B Amendment next week, would I get a new Reciept number? or would I have the same number even after the Amendment? 2) If I have a different Receipt number, do I need to wait to book my visa slot in Vancouver? 3) In case it is a different Receipt number, Can I book a slot with my current i797 RECIEPT NUMBER aind change it later after the Amedment is done? 4) What are the other options to deal this situation?
