akilakk Posted February 24, 2013 Report Posted February 24, 2013 I worked with Company X and had H1B visa approved from Oct 2007, which got expired in July 2010. During that I worked in US for 15 months and then returned to India.I never applied for H1B extension. I quit company X in 2011 and travelled with my husband to US in H4. I heard that within 6 years of H1 approval, we can again apply for H1 (transfer) using the prior H1 approval notice with cap exempt. Please confirm this.
