Is it mandatory to have hotel booking or US address at Point Of Entry

Hi,

I am traveling to the US for the first time, on H1-B visa.

I suppose I will be asked for an address where I will be staying in the US at Port Of Entry. Is it mandatory to have a confirmed reservation (if I am going to stay in a hotel for first few days) or lease signed (in case I am going to be staying in a shared apartment, etc.)?

What other questions I can expect at Port Of Entry? I have H1-B from a big MNC and it's a full time employment.
