Does people who receive 221g get the finger printing by VO??

Hi Guys,

I have question, Does people who get 221g/administrative processing are asked to give their finger printing at the time of interview in Hyderabad??

My application has to go through administrative processing but the VO asked me to give finger prints at the end of my interview. I am still waiting for the response from the consulate though. Does everyone get to give the finger prints irrespective of getting a visa??
