Interview over as spouse of USC-but waiting-on-prev-485 cancel

Hello All,

Recently my spouse and I attended the GC interview where I sponsored her with my USC status. The interview went fine and the officer said everything looks good and see should be able to approve our application.

We previously had a pending employment based 485 for her. Therefore, the officer requested us to sign a waiver so that she can cancel that EB-485 application before she approves the GC.

It has been more than 45 days and I have not heard nor seen any status change on the site. Is there a way to follow up on this case. We filed our app in Oct, took the interview in Dec 2012 in Chicago.

Any suggestions would be helpful.
