Attorney_11 Posted February 19, 2013 Report Posted February 19, 2013 In most cases, an individual travelling to the United States must have in their possession a passport which validity at least six months beyond the anticipated duration of their stay in the United States. It has been observed that a rule of reasonableness is utilized with respect to the application of this rule on a case by case basis. A consultation with a a qualified immigration attorney may help to clarify matters.
