Crossing Mexico Border for Reinstatement - Help needed!

Hello All,

As my OPT extension got denied, my SEVIS got terminated and I am planning to cross the Mexico border with new I20.......

I already got my I20, and my f1 is valid till July 2014.

1. Is is a non-risky process, to cross the Mexico border @ San-Diago and come back?

2. Do I need to submit my I94 before leaving and come back and get new I94?

3. Please give me what are the exit & entering process at Mexico border.

There is always some risk of denial of entry. You have no option but to try. However, be prepared to return to your home country if denied.
