FFIC Posted February 17, 2013 Report Posted February 17, 2013 Hi, I got my H1B visa stamped by a X company in Nov 2012.I never entered US using that visa and My X Company is not willing to send me to US. Should I approach other consultancy to transfer my Visa, as per my knowledge its possible, but I would like to confirm.
Attorney_10 Posted February 17, 2013 Report Posted February 17, 2013 Generally, to enter the U.S. on H1B status the individual must have a valid, approved H1B petition with the company they will work for in the U.S. It is possible to use the valid, unexpired H1B visa with company "A" and the I-797 approval notice for company "B" to enter the U.S. to work for Company "B."
