shocker Posted February 16, 2013 Report Posted February 16, 2013 Hi all, can somebody please advice. I have been with my employer since March2011. Worked for Client A until July 2011 but switched to Client B August 2011 but my employer filed for an H1 extension only in March2012 with LCA for new client location. My concern is what should I answer when VO asks how long have you been with current client , I am going to say August2011 but if VO checks the LCA then what will happen? Appreciate all feedback.
Hank_82 Posted February 19, 2013 Report Posted February 19, 2013 Your company should have filed LCA BEFORE you went to new client, and also, should have amended your H1B petition, later sometime. Be reasonable when you answer to VO. Good luck.
vamsi_gemini Posted February 19, 2013 Report Posted February 19, 2013 In your case you have to tell if someone asked how long means only when your LCA filed(more or less with in 20days) date. In the client letter dont mentioned howlong you been working but if possible just mention how long it will be from now. I did the same and dont worry as how long you been working for client doesnt matter as its only matters how long you been with your employer. Good luck.
