Here goes my interview,

I went to counter 6 for interview

VO : Hi, How are you doing?

Me: I am good, how are you doing?

VO: Is this your first H1-B

Me: Yes

VO: Did you go to school in US?

Me: Yes

VO: Which School?

Me: XXXXXX

VO: What did u study there?

Me: Masters in Computer Science

VO: What is your Job Title?

Me: Programmer Analyst

VO: Where is your employer located

Me: XXXXXX

VO: Do you work at Client site?

Me: yes and told the client name and city

VO: Do you have a client letter? Can i see it?

Me: gave the client letter, he observed the signature on the client letter.

VO: Do you have pay stubs? Can i see them?

Me: yes, and gave last year pay stubs

VO: Looked 2 or 3 pay stubs and asked me does your employer email you this pay stubs?

Me: i said i downloaded from website they do direct deposit

VO: How often you get paid

Me: once in a month

VO: Do you have W2? Can i see?

Me: yes and gave w2

VO: what is your annual salary?

Me: XXXXXXX (my w2 is more than my annual salary which i told but he didn't bother bcoz i don't have per diem in my pay stubs)

VO: Where do u live?

Me: XXXXXX

VO: Do you work in a downtown?

Me: XXXXX

VO: How do you commute to work do you take train or drive?

Me: XXXXXX (I think he knows the train system in the city where i live, i guess he knows client also)

VO: How long does it take you to go to office?

Me: XXXXX

after 3 minutes of silence he said i am approving your visa, you will receive passport by next week.

You Said, you went to counter 6 ... How can that possible? I mean, is there any ways, people can decide, which counter they can go, etc? .. My understanding was that, it gets assigned randomly and we dont have control .. can you please let us know?
