Visa stamping in Canada

Hello,

I have done MS from US University. I currently have L1B visa stamp which is valid till Apr-2012. I also have H1B I797 approved.

I had the following questions:

1) Can I go to Canada for getting my H1B stamped?

2) In case there is some delay in processing for H1B and assuming I have passport in hand, can I come back to US on L1B ?

3) What locations in Canada are preferable? Toronto, Ottawa or Montreal?

Please reply to this as this is urgent.

usually calgary vancover toronto and ottawa are only available .

i would suggest u to go to vancouver if u did masters

Thanks for reply. Would Ottawa (where I am planning to go) not be a good choice?

Also, is it possible that I convert to H1B in US itself (by Change of Status) and then get H1B stamped in my passport whenever I go out of US next time?

I am also planning to go to canada for my H1b Stamping. i did my masters in USA.

1 Any one have nay idea if we got any Query how long will they allow us to stay in canada?

2.If we got Query and if we don't have REQUESTed docs can we go to india direclty from canda and submit the DOCS from india . will they give us the passport back if they issue query?

I have not yet taken my appointment date. I am planning to take sometime around Mid-October.

On the same Boat, did my masters here and willing to Travel to Canada , But not sure How successful it is there Than India. What if we get a 221g , heard u u can comeback to us and wind up stuff within 10 days and go to home country for stamping again True? May be ?
