Successful Visa Stamping in Toronto- Feb 11th 2013

Hi Guys,

Thanks for all the info from Murthy Forum and below is my Interview Experience

I attended the Visa Interview Yesterday (Feb 11th).

It was very cold here because of the snow storm and we waited for 40 minutes outside the Consulate.

After that i was called in and gave my DS 160 to a lady and she wrote (PIMS-ok ) on my DS-160 and asked me to take a picture (my picture looks old- there is a self photo booth for $10-6 photos).

Then i was called for fingerprints and then for the Interview , it was for about 2-3 minutes and here are the questions:

VO:GM

ME: GM Sir

VO: Are you in H1B

ME: Yes

VO: You work for xxx

ME: Yes, i work for xxx

VO: What does this company do

ME: I explained him

VO: What are your roles and responsibilities

ME: I explained him

VO: From how long you are working for this company

ME: xxx months

VO: Where did you work before that

ME: I worked as a Contractor for the same company before

VO: For how long ?

ME: xxx months

VO: Whats ur highest educational degree

ME: I said MS

VO: Whats your specialization in masters

ME: I told him

VO: What Courses you did in your Masters

ME: I told him

Then the VO said Your Visa is Aproved

My status is Admin processing Yesterday and it changed to Issued today.

Hi deeps,

Congrats! for the successful visa stamp. I was also there on 11th and my interview was at around 1:30 pm. And yeah! after a similar interview ti yours mine was also approved. Currently, my status is issued. I guess now we have to wait for the email from Consulate with the WAYBill number so that we can pick our docs from Loomis. Which Loomis did you choose? I chose Brampton.. Also, do you have an idea how long before they send our docs to Loomis? If you picked the same, maybe we can go together to pick up..

Congrats, even my status shows issued and i am waiting for the email from Consulate.

I have choosen Brampton Loomis Center.

Btw where are you staying now ?

I am currently in a hotel in downtown toronto. Got email from loomis today morning saying that my docs r ready for pick. what abt u? text me your number at my email: jajjy_boyz@yahoo.com so that we cam share the ride to brampton.
