nov20ottawa
I got an Email frm the consulate within 2 hours. They have asked me to submit 6 documents. A copy of the petition with all supporting documents as filed to USCIS A copy of the employment contract or letter of agreement signed by me and petitioner. Last six months Pay slips and Bank Statements Contract between Employer and client Client letter (letter Head) stating that ther is position at the job Site. Brief itenary of my job responsibilities. I tried to get the Client Letter from Client many times but failed to get one. According to company’s HR Policy They cannot provide one. I have also requested my manager to provide a email confirmation stating that. He was really helpful getting me an Email Confirmation. Will that Help? Is there any other option if i don't get a client Letter? Link to comment
rahul412
Is there any other option if i don't get a client Letter? Here is the reason for your 221g. It's been told many times that CLIENT LETTER is mandatory for visa interview. Now you have to pay price for you MISTAKE. Link to comment
an0n
If the consulate asks specifically for a client letter on letterhead, i think you will improve your chances of getting through the 221g easily. If you are very confident about all the other documentation provided and everything is in order, i think you can provide the manager confirmation stating that "As per company policy we are not authorized to issue bonafide letters for anybody other than employees of <client organization>. As you are not an employee they cannot provide the same and that if the embassy officials wish to verify your position at client site, please do not hesitate to contact me <Manager Name> @ phone number / email id, contact information etc..." Give an alternate contact at client site too. That is what i did. Hope this helps! Link to comment

Hank_82
Guys, didnt you submit the client letter in your petition to USCIS? .. If no client - letter, then try to get the email that client cannot give client - letter and submit along with other proof that you are working at the client currently or most recently and wil have work there ... work emails, badges, work photo etc .. whatever sensible it could look .. an0n
Congrats rkrishnavajjala and an0n Do you know what were the questions Asked to the Client. Thanks In Advance. Questions asked to my client over phone: 1. Is XXX working at your location? 2. When did XXX start working there? (Date?) 3. Which company does XXX work for? 4. How long is his position/project expected to last? Additional Info: My Client told the consul officer, that I was in the middle of a delivery of a software project and they would appreciate it if the US consulate could process my case quickly. My client also asked when I would be able to return etc... Consul Officer informed that she is only doing the verification and she will pass on this information to her manager who will decide the case... Link to comment
