bmpUser
Hi all, Thanks for wonderful services provided. I completed 5 yrs in L1B and then presently in 6th year in H1B which is expiring Nov 2013. My company won't do GC now. Can my company do a H1B to L1A now and i stay for another year till Nov 2014 provided my company agrees to do a L1A for me ?. I will have 9+ yrs of total experience in a month. Link to comment
Attorney_11
An individual is permitted to change status from H-1B to L-1A, provided they are eligible for L-1A classification. Note that all time in previous H-1B and L-1 classification counts towards the 7 year maximum in L-1A classification. A more personalized strategy can be determined by speaking with an immigration attorney via a legal consultation. Link to comment
