avangapalli
Hello, I worked more than 20 hours on part time CPT which violates the F1 regulation, after this, I left USA and re entered, since then I never violated any regulations! My company is sponsoring for H1 VISA, 1. will this violation effect my H1? 2. Eventhough I get H1, when I go for Stamping, what should I mention in DS160? I violated the regulations, do i ever get VISA stamped in other country when I go for stamping? Please help! Link to comment
rahul412
Your violation of F1 rule will be on record forever. Link to comment
Attorney_25
Violation of status by working is not usually grounds for denial of H-1B visa. If consulate thinks you will work illegally based on your prior improper work, they could deny a visa, but H-1B is a work visa so the potential for future illegal work is generally not a consideration.
