I would like to know whether I would be eligible for an applying OPT. As I was on H1-B, will this have an effect for applying OPT. t75 Posted February 9, 2013 Report Share Posted February 9, 2013 As long as you have not already had an OPT for the same level of degree, you may apply for OPT and then use the rest of your 6 years of H1B. Link to comment
