Wife converting to F1 while my GC is in process

Hello fellow members,

I am in the US on an H1-B, with my I-140 approved. My wife, who is currently on a H-4 plans to go to school, converting her H4 to F1. She plans to convert to F1 so that she can apply for internship when in school.

I wanted to know if my current GC processing will cause a problem with my wife's F1 processing or vice versa.
