Old Client letter - Is that a problem ?

Hi All,

I am in EVC model.

I have a client letter given to me in Sept 2012 bcos i had an RFE during my H1 amendment.

Now i am NOT getting the same letter with different date due to various reasons. What could be my best bet ?

My colleague is also coming with me for stamping but he does not have a old client letter too.

I am planning to show

1) Old letter with my phone tool showing my manager name in the hierarchy etc,

2) Any email with me and my manager included.

We can get a vendor letter but i am not sure how useful it is if i am going to speak about client only.

Any suggestions on how to get around this ?

My client letter was older than what you have. I used the same letter that I'd submitted with my h1 application for my stamping (this month) So, I think it should be ok, as long as it's original (and is on a company letterhead). Photocopy may induce unnecessary questions. A couple of folks during interview were asked about the legitimacy of the letter because it wasn't on a company letterhead. Make sure you carry your Employer, Vendor and Client letter and as much as possible all originals.

Their is no alternative for client letter.

better take a new one. because recent date is good. Also the VO might get doubt because of old date on the letter

take copy of work emails, work assignments, badges, photos as substitute ..
