Passport Xerox in Color or B&W

It looks like silly Question.Sorry about it.

Long ago up to my remembrance we cant take Color Xerox of ID Proofs in US.

Now i am sending my wife in India for H4 Visa. I am sending my passport and Drivers License.

Do she need to take Color Xerox or B&W??

In our experience, clear color photocopies are acceptable, and even preferred, for government purposes.

Firstly you cannot "Send your wife" and your wife is not a package!!!!

2ndly...How can you send your passport along with her????? You cannot do that!!...so basically you mean to say you cannot make a COPY of your passport and just give her the copies???

she has to take the original passort to india???

is she taking your US DL or India's??? Whats going on??

And to answer your question..Take a Color copy.

My situation is now i am in US and my wife going to attend H4 Visa interview.So i tought she need to carry a copy of my passport.

So do she need to carry a copy of my passport or not. Is she need to carry; can i send a color copy or not that is my question.

She only needs to carry the copies of your passport and not the originials.

that's the thing i am telling i am not sending Originals. My Question is Copies must be in B& W or color copies also fine.
