Input Appreciated ! How long until decision on I-485?

Hello Everyone:

I am just wondering if anyone can share how long did it take to get the decision on your I-485 petition once the PD is current. Below is my situation:

PD: 12/27/2007 under EB3

EB2 PERM Filed in December 2011 approved in March 2012

I-140 and I-485 concurrent filing and accepted in April 2012

PD retrogressed in May of 2012

I-140 approved in June of 2012 date ported from EB3 to EB2

PD is now (Feb 2013) is current again

My bio and medical were all done in May of 2012 and submitted.

I am wondering how long would it take for me to get a response from Nebraska service center. Since i was able file my I485 before the retrogression, I hope it won't take another 4 months to process my case.

If anyone had similar situation or can share how long I can expect to hear and update on my case, i will be very thankful.

The USCIS has previously advised that they pre-adjudicate I-485s and place them in a queue awaiting visa availability and approve them swiftly when visas become available. So, in theory, it should not be a matter of months for a backlogged I-485 to be approved, assuming there are no requests for evidence. It is always possible to notify the Service Center in writing, or via a Service Request, of the immediate availability of an immigrant visa number. Attorneys can assist in that regard.
