OPT Denied - Motion To Reopen, what are the chances of +ve response?

Hello All,

My OPT got denied due to wrong everify number from employer, USCIS gave a query, even the we gave a wrong everify number. miss communication on the employer end. My employer is now ready to give a letter stating his fault.

Now we are planning to file an MTR (Motion to reopen). Did anyone of you, filed an MTR for OPT deniel? Did anyone got response from USCIS?

In general how much time USCIS takes to respond to MTR?

I think you should involve an experienced attorney in this.

call uscis and ask them to reopen the case....send a letter thru ur employer's attorney...contact ur school also and tell them the same...

when ur employer is everified, u can print a document from everify website regarding ur status....send that also to uscis....best thing is to first reopen the case, talk to them.....
