L1B Travel prior to visa expiry

Hi,

My visa expires on 22nd April and I need to visit India and return prior to the visa expiry..so if I return 3 weeks prior is it fine?

Will I be able to board the plane or have any issues on immigration..is there any visa validity required to re-enter back in US.

If your visa is unexpired and you can prove that your employer is still planning to employ you, you should be fine.

AS Attorney_25 said, you can enter into USA before one day of your visa expires.

Note that CBp does give I-94 till your visa expires and your employer has to file for extension before your visa expires

Thanks..So the extension can be submitted prior to re-entry or after you return back.
