returning to US to complete MS degree

Hi everyone. I have a peculiar case.. any advice is appreciated.

I failed in the last course of my MS program.. then waited for an year and transferred to a different univ( stupid.. right?).

However, I could not either complete it and had to come back to India on a personal emergency.

I still had 1.5 yrs of valid visa since I came to India and it has been 2.5 yrs since.

Now I have talked to the first university and they said that I wil be getting an admission for 6 months?

Now, I would like to know if I have a chance of getting the visa approved.

Plz.. any advice is highly appreciated.

I don't see any particular issue in applying for a new F-1 visa, but of course this depends on the specific facts of your case. For a complete analysis of your case, consult with a qualified attorney. I'm assuming the university meant they will issue an I-20 valid for 6 months.
