221g Toronto case

Hi,

I am an international student studying in Canada. I got an internship with a well reputed company in USA. I applied for J1 at US consulate, Toronto.

11 Dec- Interview. (Everything went well, kept my resume and some work DS form). I was issued a 221g yellow with a batch number.

9 Jan- I receive an email saying admin processing/security clearance done, please submit passport.

10 Jan- I submit passport

11 Jan- Passport sent back without visa, needs further administrative processing.

Since then, there has been no update on the Visa tracking official site. I am not sure why they would put my case back in AP. Its getting really late now. Anyone else faced a similar situation ?
