kakatuya007 Posted February 4, 2013 Report Share Posted February 4, 2013 I am planning to visit India on 1st week of May 2013 to bring my parents with me. They are on tourist visa. My I-94 is expiring on 18 June and my H1B visa is valid till 1st August 2013. Please suggest if it is a good idea to go to India with only 3 months left on my H1 visa? Are there chances that I might be deported from the POE? Link to comment
Attorney_25 Posted February 5, 2013 Report Share Posted February 5, 2013 If you can show that your H-1B job still exists and that you are entering the US for the purpose of taking up that job, and that you will be filing an extension once you enter, you should be ok. Link to comment
