jobas2007 Posted February 3, 2013 Report Posted February 3, 2013 I am struggling with question for a long time with conflicting information. Actually my company filed for H1-B with LCA associated to office location X. In the same time they also filed for Labor with same location X. Now, as my project moved totally out of a state to location Y, i have been asked to take a transfer. But, i have been told/informed that if I change my office location (to one in totally different state), the Labor and I-140 have to be filed again (of cource with new LCA). Can someone comment if above statement is really true? Appreciate any comments/advise.
txresearcher Posted February 16, 2013 Report Posted February 16, 2013 Labor is location dependent. Once you change location it is no longer valid, and needs to be replied for the new location.
