Will there be any affect on my green card(already filed) if i change roles while remaining in the same company?

I am changing my role within my present company. My green card is already filed on my last role.

Will there be any affect on my green card while i change my role, while continuing with my present employer?

Once the GC is approved, you would have to work in the role as specified in the PERM. If you get a promotion, that is rather unlikely to happen. So, yes, your GC could be affected.

my main concern is will my Priority Date move or will remain same. My I-140 is approved
