Lower wages than LCA

Hi

I am on H1B and wages of 80K is mentioned in LCA. I am trying to get Job which pays lesser salary i.e. 72K( due to personal preferences). My employer says I cannot do that and he informs me that there will be problems with USCIS, if I do so. Is this true. Please suggest and thanks in Advance

You should get paid as per the LCA. if your salary is less than that, then you are out of status. I think new LCA can be processed with less pay. But why someone want to get paid less ??

Of course it is true. Don't ever think of doing such mistakes. Or please leave the country and go back.

yes, you cannot get paid less than LCA.

=> Why on earth someone would be interested to get lower salary? If you want to be in lower tax bracket, there are several other ways to do this.
